Vinito – established from a long tradition of the great Barron Vincenzo Saporito. The first oenological establishment founded in Castelvetrano Sicily, 1874.
Vinito partners with hand-selected vineyards from around the world. Our goal is to continue the legacy of Barron Saporito.
We value vineyards that focus on traditional techniques, modern technology, and a commitment to environmental responsibility to produce exceptional wines that are an expression of their region.
Vinito is an international fine wine import-export company representing boutique and mid-size, family owned and operated wineries.
Our focus is on quality wines of distinction, soul, and tradition that reflect the unique character of world winemakers in diverse regions. Vinito’s comprehensive portfolio includes indigenous varietals from some of the most prominent growing regions throughout the world. Our wineries strive to maintain the winemaking traditions of their region in order to produce wines of the highest quality and the best value.
Our producers are committed to using sustainable growing methods and earth-friendly farming. We believe that small estates can offer the highest quality and uncompromising standards at every step of the growing and winemaking process.
Vinito represents both ‘classic’ and ‘new generation’ winemakers in our portfolio. Regardless of the winemaking technique, both styles produce expressive wines of character and balance that reflect their place of origin.
To work a vineyard, you need a lot of guts to do that. To go out there and work all year, you almost feel that these people talk to the grapes. Wine is a lifestyle, and you can talk about it for ages. It's a passion, but it's not something I can do on a daily basis.
All four elements were happening in equal measure - the cuisine, the wine, the service, and the overall ambience. It taught me that dining could happen at a spiritual level
Maybe it's because I'm getting older, I'm finding enjoyment in things that stop time. Just the simple act of tasting a glass of wine is its own event. You're not downing a glass of wine in the midst of doing something else. David Hyde Pierce
